Continuing Education

Three Continuing Education courses are offered at the 2014 Western Division meeting.  They are:

  1. Mangrove ecology, management, conservation and restoration – A field tour.  This course is limited to 15 participants and costs $50 USD.
  2. AFS standard methods for freshwater fish sampling & comparing your data with North American standards.  Two versions of this course are offered, one in English and one in Spanish; both are limited to 25 participants and cost $20 USD.
  3. Evaluation methods in elasmobranch populations.  This course is being offered through the Sharks and Rays Symposium and requires registration at their website:
